had one. and a versys 650.

moto is okay ish. its not a very nice sound and its weak int he 650 catergory (65 HP VS the SVs 75HP)

chassis was pretty shitty. very much more touring then sports.

my choice would be either an SV or a versys 650 for the off-roading (ish)



WITH THAT SAID. 2400 for 15K miles is cheap. its not a bad deal at all

The CL problem solves itself once all the space is used up.

As for the 650, depends what you want. If you intend to pack on the miles it’s great, but there are better options for sport riding. Like Peter said, the sv650. It is really the standard of the mid 2000s midsize twin category for a reason.

Yea my 500 is twin cylinder so sound isnt a huge deal to me. Reliability wise was it good?
